Description

Request for information VAIQ License Renewal, Remediation and Tier III Help Desk Support The united State Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center is seeking sources to provide all necessary personnel, management, materials, administrative support, travel, and technical services required to deliver the following: Application Gap Analysis and Recommendations Report; Application and System Implementation Upgrade; Remediation of System's Security Vulnerabilities and development of Program of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms); Renewal of Maintenance for 1300 licenses, and Tier 3 Application and System Support. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. Do not submit a proposal or quote. It is requested that all companies interested in participating in this effort please note their interest and provide information on their respective capabilities to perform the effort described in the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bids, Request for Quotations, or a Request for Proposal. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the VA in developing its acquisition strategy and Performance Work Statement. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. The North American Industrial Classification for this effort is 541512. It is requested that interested contractors submit a response (electronic submission) of no more than 20 pages in length, single spaced, 12 point font minimum that addresses the below information. 1.Provide, at a minimum, the following information in the initial paragraph of the submission: "Name of Company "Address "Point of Contact "Phone Number "Fax Number "Email address "Company Business Size and Status "NAICS code(s) "GSA and/or GWAC, if you are included in one or more. Please include Contract Number, expiration date, etc. "Socioeconomic data "Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number 2.Provide a brief summary of your technical approach for meeting the PWS requirements for 3.Has the draft PWS and any associated attachments provided sufficient detail to describe the technical and functional requirements that encompass the desired solution? ______ YES ______ NO (if No, answer question 4) 4.If "NO", please provide your technical and functional comments/recommendations on elements of the draft PWS that may contribute to a more accurate proposal submission and efficient, cost effective solution. Instructions for Submitting RFI Response Submit responses electronically via the Virtual Office of Acquisition (VOA) by 1:00 PM Eastern Standard time, April 23, 2015. The web address for the VOA site is https://www.voa.va.gov/. Offerors will be required to be registered users on the VOA website in order to submit responses. Once they are registered, vendors can click on the "Proposal Dashboard" link and within that link click on "Add Proposal" to open up the form to upload files. The "Proposal Type" drop down field should be changed to VA118-15-N-0263 to reflect the RFI being responded to. For registration or technical issues concerning proposal submission, contact voahelp@va.gov. WARNING: Please do not wait until the last minute to submit your files. We recommend the transmission of your files 24 hours prior to the required due date and time. Offerors are encouraged to review and ensure that sufficient bandwidth is available on their end of the transmission. The Government prefers that you submit your information in one volume. All proprietary/company confidential material shall be clearly marked on every page that contains such. Instructions for Submitting Questions Your questions shall be submitted electronically via VOA.
