Description

The US Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for the modernization of a passenger (electric) elevator and a freight (hydraulic) elevator. Period of Performance is one-year. SITE VISIT: 4 March 2015 at 1:00pm Russell B. Long Federal Building 777 Florida St Baton Rouge, LA 70801 CONTACT: Michael Harvey Michael.harvey@gsa.gov & (225)663-4117 PROPOSALS ARE DUE: 3 June 2015 Central Standard Time - subject to change General Services Administration - PBS Room 12B01 - 7PQC - ATTN: Clem Schram 819 Taylor St - Federal Building Fort Worth, Texas 76102 SOURCE SELECTION: BEST VALUE The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the best value to the Government, Total Evaluated Price and other factors considered. In addition to Total Evaluated Price, the following non-price factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Technical Approach, (2) Experience, (3) Schedule, (4) Past Performance, and (5) Preventive Maintenance Approach. Non-Price factors, when combined, are significantly more important than Total Evaluated Price.
