Description
Complete Solicitation Package with Requirements The US Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitaion for a commercial purchase. This will be a Low Price Technically Acceptable procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12. Offers will be evaluated in accordance with the solicitation. The offer deemed technically acceptable with the lowest price will be issued the purchase order. This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 336612 with a size standard of 500 employees. Offeror is to provide a trailerable aluminum sediment sampling and dive boat. The boat shall be aluminum V-hull. The boat shall be arranged with a forward walk-around pilot house, twin outboard propulsion, a davit with integrated winch/pot puller system positioned for sample retrieval through a hull moon pool. The primary purpose of this boat is for the collection of sediment and other environmental media from the Great Lakes, and thus emphasis should be placed on providing open deck work space aft of the pilot house. See Scope of Work for more detailed descriptions. All offers are due 1-May-2015, at 2:00PM(est). Any offeror wishing to be considered for award must be registered in the System for Award (SAM) database. This will be the only posting for this requirement. The solicitation form must be filled out completely where required and returned with the offer. This will be the only means of dissemination of information. It is the interested party's responsibility to monitor the fbo.gov website for any information about this acquisition. Questions will be accepted until 22-April-2015, and must be submitted in writing to Ms. Dorothy Jones at dorothy.j.jones@usace.army.mil.
