Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 11 Contracting office, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Liebel-Flarsheim of Cincinnati, OH for the emergency service repairs, (replacement when necessary) and preventative maintenance to the urological Liebel Flarsheim units, attachments, and software. NAICS 811219 applies; the small business size standard is $20.5 million. The Contractor shall provide all maintenance and repairs for the Hydravision DR System located at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R Street, Detroit, MI 48201 for a period of the date of award for twelve (12) months with two (2) One (1) year options. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm on April 24, 2015. No telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be mailed to VAAAHS, Attn: Thomas Auten, Contracting Officer, Network 11 Contracting Office, and PO Box 492, Ann Arbor, MI 48106.
