Description

This procurement is being solicited to GSA vendors on an unrestricted, firm fixed price basis in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. Evaluation will be made based on lowest price technically acceptable to the Government. Technical acceptability will be determined by ability to provide the specific brand name and model number components requested, as well as ability to meet the requested delivery lead time. Item Descriptions and specifications. All quotes must adhere to the specification below in order to be found technically acceptable. Please note: This is a BRAND NAME ONLY Request prepared IAW FAR 6.302-1(C). Only products manufactured by Plantronics shall be considered. It has been determined that there are limited manufacturers that provide headsets compatible with the existing AVAYA Model 2420 Digital Telephones. Market research has indicated there are only (2) known manufacturers that product compatible headsets; Plantronics and Jabra/GN Netcom. However, the Canandaigua VA already has several hundred Plantronics interface cables already in their possession and attached to the phones. A headset by Jabra would not be compatible with the cables by Plantronics. Likewise, the requested ear pieces are specific to Plantronics headsets. Allowing brands other than Plantronics to be considered would facilitate a need for hundreds of additional pieces of equipment to totally replace the stock of accessories currently at the site. Item 0004: Quick Disconnect Cables Quantity: 100 Description of requirement: "Brand Name Product Avaya HIC Quick Disconnect (QD) Cable by Plantronics, Inc.
