- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for covert recorders. The requirement also includes potential requirements for limited concealment and engineering/technical support services. The required items specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is Adaptive Digital Systems (Newport Beach, CA). The proposed Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract shall include one (1) twelve month base Period of Performance (POP) with four (4) additional twelve month option periods. The estimated total amount of this proposed contract, inclusive of the Government exercising all four option periods, is $46.2 million. The Request for Proposal (RFP) Number is DJF-15-1800-PR-0016655. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334310. This requirement is a small business set-aside, with a size standard of 750 employees. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Please see www.sam.gov for further information. Please state in the subject line of Email "Solicitation Request for RFP DJF-15-1800-PR-0016655." Only email requests will be accepted. The solicitation package will be sent to all interested vendors by email only. If vendor is proposing an "equal product," the proposal must contain all technical specifications included as required in the solicitation. Any proposal not containing the technical specifications shall be considered unresponsive. If vendor is proposing the brand name product, vendor must provide evidence that they are an authorized reseller. This evidence may include letter with manufacturer letterhead and/or other documentation. If vendor does not provide this information, the proposal shall be considered unresponsive.
