- Attachment B- Academic Language Capability Statement Instructions Attachment A-Draft Academic Language Performance Work Statement The U.S. Department of Education (the Department) is conducting a vendor engagement webinar on the anticipated "Impact Evaluations of Academic Language Interventions" procurement (ED-IES-15-R-0024). The Department's Institute of Education Science's, National Center for Education Evaluation and Regional Assistance (NCEE) intends to evaluate the impact of academic language interventions on the academic achievement of English Learners (ELs), as well as non-EL disadvantaged students in the same classrooms. Specifically, the overall premise of the anticipated contract is to conduct a large-scale effectiveness study of rigorously tested academic language interventions that have previously shown positive impacts on EL achievement. Full details regarding this requirement may be found in the Draft Academic Language Performance Work Statement [PWS] (Attachment A). Date/Time:The webinar will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11:00 am Eastern Time. Registration/Questions:Interested Parties may RSVP for the webinar No Later Than 12 Noon (ET) on April 14, 2015, by sending an email to Stephen.Madsen@ed.gov (Contract Specialist), with a carbon copy to Veronica.Price@ed.gov (Contracting Officer). All questions regarding this notice must be emailed to the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer listed above, ALONG WITH THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IN ATTACHMENT B (CAPABILITY STATEMENT INSTRUCTIONS) by 12 noon (ET) on April 22, 2015. The subject line of the email must state -- "RSVP for ED-IES-15-R-0024 Webinar ([Name of Company])" - for example "RSVP for ED-IES-15-R-0024 Webinar (ABC Company)." The contents of the email must contain: (a) Full name of company, (b) Name of individual representing company, (c) Email address of that individual. A single email per company is adequate, even if multiple people from the company plan to attend the webinar.
