- Combined set of drawings This notice provides details of an upcoming project prior to advertisement of the solicitation package. The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) intends to solicit for award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract to enhance wetland functions and restore wetland hydrology on a Wetland Reserve Easement in Henderson County, Tennessee. Wetland Reserve Program restoration work will be constructed on a WRP easement in Henderson County, Tennessee during the summer of 2015. Construction work includes removing an existing dike that is currently failing in multiple places and constructing a new, safer dike with a flashboard riser so water levels can be controlled. Anticipated work includes 3.9 acres of clearing and grubbing, 4,956 cubic yards of excavation for existing dike removal, 10,201 cubic yards of earthfill to construct the a new dike, one aluminum water control structure, and 4.9 acres of vegetation establishment. During construction, the contractor will be required to install and maintain an access road and remove surface water as necessary to complete the work. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) applicable to this requirement is 237990, with a small business size standard of $36.5 million. This procurement will be set aside as a 100% small business set-aside. Performance time is calculated to be 58 Calendar Days The Invitation For Bids (IFB) will be available in electronic format only and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about April 6, 2015 with a closing date of May 5, 2015. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OFEROR TO CHECK THE FBO WEBSITE FOR CHANGES. In order to receive an award regardless of dollar value, you must be registered in "System for Award Management". https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ A site showing will be held on April 9, 2015 at 9:00 am at the NRCS Jackson Area Office, 235 Oil Well Rd., Jackson, TN 38305. A single file of drawings has been added to replace files:Solicitation 5,6,7 & 8. The solicitation 8 file contains the combined set of drawings and replaces the previous individual drawing files.
