- Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC, (CNS) is seeking interested parties for a lease agreement of an administrative support facility, to be located within a 10 mile maximum proximity to the US Department of Energy property at the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas. Background The Pantex Plant is located on FM 2373 approximately 17 miles northeast of Amarillo. It is a Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) national security plant managed and operated by CNS. General Scope Description CNS, is seeking a modern, environmentally friendly, energy efficient facility to house 1,100 personnel, conference/specialty rooms, cafeteria, restrooms, controlled access, supply storage, file storage, printers, plotters, and Vault type rooms with a potential 250,000 to 300,000 sf. The objective of the ASC is to have a private entity provide office space, maintain the facility, and subsequently execute a lease agreement with CNS Pantex. Office Space 1. Executive Eight offices needed with 1,600 sq. ft. total space required. 2. Sr. Management It is proposed that twenty-four offices at 250 sq. ft. each be provided to handle Senior Management. 3. Management One hundred seventy one offices averaging 130 sq. ft. each will be required at the current management distribution level. 4. Exempt/Non-exempt One thousand forty nine cubicle locations at 100 sq. ft. each are needed for assigned personnel. 5. Communications Each office shall have one standard telephone, one connection for unclassified computer and one connection for classified computer Other Space Requirements 1. Thirty four conference/specialty rooms with 991 person total capacity 2. Thirteen areas requested to controlled access with two requesting layered access 3. Thirty four auditor/visitors annually needing space, with an estimated 2 weeks to 6 months 4. 2,300 sq. ft. of Storage, supply 5. 8,200 sq. ft. storage, files 6. Seven vault-type rooms, 3,300 sq. ft. 7. 2,500 sq. ft. printers, plotter, misc We are seeking firms that would be interested in leasing a facility/office space to CNS.
