Description
Performance Work Statement ~ Medical Services for Residential Re-entry Centers Residential Reentry Centers THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for the provision of medical services for federal offenders housed in Residential Reentry Centers (RRC). While the Bureau houses the majority of its inmates in correctional facilities owned and operated by the Bureau, there are a portion of inmates who are housed outside of Bureau facilities in RRCs, state correctional facilities (termed long-term borders), jails/short-term detention centers, contract juvenile detention facilities, and private residences through home confinement authority. For the purpose of this synopsis, these inmates housed outside of Bureau facilities are collectively referred to as 'Community Corrections Management (CCM) inmates.' Services provided are expected to fall into general categories of inpatient and outpatient facility and professional services which conform to community standards and all local, state and Federal laws and regulations applicable to the delivery of health care to citizens of the general public to those CCM inmates located in the Mid-Atlantic, North Central, Northeast, South Central, Southeast, and Western Region. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 524298 (Size Standard: $15.0 million). It is anticipated that the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) performance period will consist of a base year from date of award (DOA) through 12 months from DOA, with one 12-month option periods for renewal. A Government Request for Proposal to provide these services may be developed, and a BPA may or may not result. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not reimburse or pay a respondent for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. A capability statement is being requested from potential offerors. The capability statement shall include the following: Core Competencies: short introduction statement relating the company's core competencies to the agency's specific needs followed by key-word heavy bullet points; differentiators: Identity what makes your company different from your competitors and how this benefits the targeted agency; and company data: one very brief company description detailing pertinent data; and list specific pertinent codes, i.e., DUNS, socio-economic certification, cage code, other federal contract vehicles, BPA's and other federal contracts numbers and/or state contract numbers. Attached is a copy of the draft Performance Work Statement and List of Residential Reentry Centers (RRCs) Locations. Each offeror must proposed to provide services at a maximum of five RRCs. Additional information regarding this procurement will be distributed solely through General Service Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The date of receipt of the capability statement and proposed list of Residential Reentry Centers is Wednesday, May 6, 2015, 10:00 a.m., Central Time (CT). No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests will be accepted. The capability statement and proposed list of Residential Reentry Centers may be submitted in hard copy to U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, U. S.
