Description

Amendment number 0001 is issued in order to change the time for the site visit from April 15th at 10:00AM to April 15th at 9:00AM. For security purposes, all attendees must contact Cecilia Eichel at (508) 439-0475, 48 hours prior to site visit. The FAA Eastern Acquisition Service Area, Boston Acquisition Office, has a construction effort for the relocation of two (2) localizer (LOC) antenna arrays, the replacement of the existing Mark 1F type Instrument Landing System (ILS) equipment with the Mark 20A type equipment (LOC and glide slope (GS) equipment upgrades) serving Runways 33R and 15L; and the retrofit of the runway 33R MALSR STA 4 with frangible anchor bolts; and the removal of the Threshold Disconnect Switch for the R/W 33R MALSR at Baltimore, Washington International Airport, in Baltimore, MD. Performance and payment bonds are required. Construction for this effort must begin on or before May 11, 2015. A site visit will be conducted on April 15th at 10:00AM at the Baltimore, Washington International Airport, 991 Corporate Boulevard, Linthicum MD 20190. Prospective Offerors are strongly encouraged to attend.
