Description

J&A, Urgent and Compelling for PRST Contract Justification for Urgent and Compelling, FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(A). 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, CA has extended the existing Pacific Range Support Team (PRST) contract in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(A), "Urgent and Compelling" for a GSA Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) Professional Engineering Support firm-fixed price and cost contract on a sole source basis effective 1 Apr 15 and ending 31 Aug 15, (2-month base and three 1-month options) to Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. The prospective contractor will be responsible for serving as lead element for all Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) related range interface and coordination efforts, as well as test resource integration and interoperability to assist the 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB, CA and the Western Launch and Test Range (WLTR). 30th Contracting Squadron executed this action as a sole source to Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. There is currently a Request for Quote RFQ878255, posted on GSA e-buy and is being procured by the 30th Contracting Squadron at Vandenberg AFB, CA. Upon award of RFQ878255, any remaining options for this contract, FA4610-10-F-8000, will not be exercised.
