- Statement of Work attached THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. MCIPAC Regional Contracting Office (RCO) is currently conducting market research to solicit comments on the attached Statement of Work and locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. This is NOT a solicitation or pre-solicitation and this notice does not guarantee that a solitation will be posted in the future or as an obligation on the part of the MCIPAC RCO. At This time, no solicitation exists; therefore, please do not request a copy of the solicitation. The RFI effort is intended to assess industry service capabilities and solicit feedback for acquisition planning purposes. Scope. The scope of this effort is to provide the Marine Corps Installation Pacific (MCIPAC) Provost Marshal's Office (PMO) with a comprehensive non-criminal law enforcement data management Information Technology (IT) solution in order to enhance installation security. The solution will also incorporate functions from the Base Safety Office and the Command Inspector General's Office that will enhance PMO's operations. Rapid access to critical data is essential to help ensure the safety of first responders while providing the best possible public service. It is desired that any hardware/software solution possess sufficient flexibility to be tailored to support local operating procedures and expandable to incorporate future requirements as directed by higher headquarters. Additionally, the IT solution is intended to provide the Marine Corps Base Commanding General with physical, technical, and administrative capabilities to reduce the vulnerabilities associated with unauthorized access, malicious activity, intelligence gathering and potential terrorist threats aboard MCIPAC facilities at any given time. This acquisition is for a modular and scalable system that can be employed autonomously in an office setting, mobile patrol vehicle, and in an expeditionary environment. The end product will provide the capability of (1) develop common/shared databases to manage information pertaining to installation access control, military registration, and licensing, (2) rapid access to information for sentries and law enforcement first responders, (3) automation of manual processes via workflow management. INSTRUCTIONS : Responses to this RFI shall not exceed 10 pages, including cover letter, discussion and contact information. Subject response must contain: 1. Capability statement sufficient to demonstrate performance acumen directly related to the objectives stated (hardware required, number labor hours, etc.) 2. Other material relevant to establishing the core competencies of the firm. Requesting a response to this RFI by 5:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 24 April 2015.
