Description

This synopsis is for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center Enterprise Multifunctional Devices Contract (TEMFDC). This procurement will provide standardized commercial MFD hardware solutions across the VA enterprise (including installation, configuration, training, and standard commercial warranty support). TEMFDC will provide customers throughout all of VA with an efficient means of replacing/refreshing MFD inventory via issuance of delivery orders under a multiple-award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle. The TEMFDC is intended to satisfy VA's copying, printing, and scanning needs by offering 12 unique MFD configurations with included support for delivery, installation, configuration, training, and standard commercial warranties. Changes and/or updates to the products offered may be necessary to accommodate manufacturer-determined device end of life (EOL). Please see the attached draft Performance Work Statement for additional details. To support this requirement, a firm-fixed price, multiple-award IDIQ contract will be put in place with a 2-year ordering period. This is anticipated to be a competitive acquisition and a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. VA intends to make up to three awards and reserves the right to make additional awards if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government. The NAICS code for this procurement is anticipated to be 334118. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is VA118-15-R-0257 (previously issued as a Request For Information under ID# VA118-15-N-0225). This is a notification of intent to issue a solicitation and not a request for proposals. A formal solicitation announcement is estimated to be posted within the next two weeks at which time a formal proposal submission will be requested.
