This is a Sources Sought, no pricing is requested at this time. Responses from Sources should include: 1. Firm's name, addresses, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. 2. Please submit responses to the sources sought to Jonathan Hankin, jonathan.s.hankin@usace.army.mil The scope of this contract consists of the purchasing of 20 Mach III Deluxe disc golf baskets with the Lime Green powder coating or equivalent, 40 Mach III basket anchor assemblies or equivalent, and 20 direct hit disc golf basket flags for our 18-hole disc golf course at Bloomington Park. The specifications for each item are below. The contractor shall furnish all equipment as requested. Bloomington Park is located at Clinton Lake. The address for shipping of these products is 872 N. 1402 Rd., Lawrence, KS 66049. Equivalent Specs: POLE (70 in.)- 1 and 1/2 inch Inside Diameter, 1 and 15/16 inch Outside Diameter hot-dipped galvanized pipe, drilled. POLES- The holes closest to one end of the pole are for the Chain Assembly. This end should also have a red pole cap plug. The middle set of holes are for the Basket Assembly. The bottom set of holes are for the Locking Collar for Deluxe Disc Pole Hole. CHAIN ASSEMBLY- Welded and hot dipped galvanized. 12 outer/12 inner chains, 500 lb. test, all hooked to Chain Assembly with heavy duty quote mark S quote mark Hooks to allow freer movement of Chains. NUMBER PLATE - 10 gauge steel, 8 inch diameter. Decal - vinyl numbers and identification cover. Sleeve ( 6 in.) - 1 and 15/16 inch Outside Diameter pipe, drilled. Bolt, hex head nut and nylon insert locknut, hex head tec screw, internal tooth star lock washer, (will not vibrate loose like one-way screws). Rod Assembly - 3/8 inch steel rod. TRAPPER BASKET 2 - 3/8 inch steel rod, welded and hot-dipped galvanized. 6 inch Sleeve-bolt, hex head nut and nylon insert locknut, hex head tec screw, internal tooth star lock washer. (will not vibrate loose like one-way screws) LOCKING COLLAR - Welded and hot-dipped Galvanized. 4 inch Collar - 2 and 1/8 inch Tubing. Bolt, hex head nut and nylon insert locknut, hex head tee screw, internal tooth star lock washer, (will not vibrate loose like one-way screws). Locking Tab - 3/16 in. steel, punched. ANCHOR - 18 inch x 2 and 1/8 inch Outside Diameter pipe, drilled. Install flush to ground with matching locking tab aiming at tee. PROVIDED ARE THE DGA DIRECT HIT DISC GOLF FLAG SPECIFICATIONS. PLEASE USE THEM FOR ANY FLAGS THAT ARE BEING CONSIDERED FOR THIS REQUEST. The flag is made of fade-resistant DuPont Solar Max fabric, or equivalent. Each lot of flags is tested for wind speed calibration and flutter smoothness. Flags are 4 quad stitched on the fly end and then folded over and locked stitched for outstanding resistance to fraying even under high wind conditions. Tube-lock flags are sewn onto a molded high-strength plastic tube that slips over the flag stick and is secured with an acorn nut. Wind speed numbers and other graphics are silk screened onto the fabric for durability. The flags are easily visible at over 200 yards.
