- SOW THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Navy to identify potential sources, and if this effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334515 which has a corresponding Size Standard of 500 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division anticipates a Firm Fixed Price contract requirement to provide signal generators (See attached SOW) in support of the Calibration Standards program for the Navy. It is requested that all interested Small Business concerns, including but not limited to HUBZone, 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), respond with a Capability Statement not to exceed two (2) pages to be used to determine the availability of Small Business concerns for this requirement. Interested Small Business concerns must identify their small business socio-economic categories. The Capability Statement shall succinctly address the following two items to demonstrate the contractor's capability to provide the requirements of this Statement of Work (SOW): (1) The contractor's technical ability, or potential approach to achieving technical ability, to provide at least 50% of the cost of the contract incurred. (2) The contractor's capacity, or potential approach to achieving capacity, to provide the requirements of the SOW. For the purposes of this Capability Statement, capacity shall refer to matters such as the amount of equipment or facilities involved, the size of the staff needed, and the ability to provide minimum and maximum quantities identified. NOTE: Only information provided in the written Capability Statement shall be considered. Any responsible parties capable of providing the requested equipment are encouraged to respond. If other equipment is capable of meeting the Government's requirements, so state. Capability Statements shall be submitted via e-mail to Chris Hainsworth at Christopher.hainswor@navy.mil by the response date.
