- The synopsis is to notify potential offerors of the Transportation Security Administration's intent to issue a Request for Quote (HSTS01-15-Q-RES224) in support of the Office of Inspections. The following are details regarding the upcoming RFQ: Synopsis: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to award a contract using full and open competition for Class A Executive Office Space-Turn Key which will consist of four (4) 120 square feet per offices plus a smaller room large enough to contain a small copier/scanner, FAX machine and a compact refrigerator. The office space must be located within 4 miles of the John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Jamaica, New York, NY 11430. Class A space is a classification used to describe buildings that generally qualify as extremely desirable investment- grade properties. Such buildings are well located and provide efficient tenant layouts as well as high quality. These buildings contain modern mechanical systems, and have above­ average maintenance and management as well as the best quality materials and workmanship in their trim and interior fittings. Space shall be in an office district with attractive, professional surroundings with a prevalence of modern design. The office space shall be lockable. The office space shall be fully furnished to include one desk, one task chair, one credenza, and one guest chair. The office space shall have phone and fax lines. The office space shall have a high speed internet connection. All utilities shall be included. Janitorial services shall be provided during normal working business hour's and shall include supplies at no additional cost. Six secured parking spaces shall be provided. The space shall be either in a garage or secured area. The space shall be maintained in good repair and tenantable condition. If replacement is, or becomes necessary, such replacement shall be of no less than same quantity or functionality to the existing space. TSA shall be able to access the space in order to install any requisite information technology. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 531120 and the small business size standard for this NAICS code is $27.5 million dollars in annual receipts. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or after April 29, 2015 via modification and uploaded to this Pre-Solicitation Notice. The anticipated award date is on or before May 18, 2015. Potential Offerors are hereby notified that future information about this acquisition, including the solicitation and subsequent amendments, will only be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
