- STATEMENT OF WORK REFURBISH UP TO FOUR OLD DECK BOATS PATRICK AFB OUTDOOR RECREATION NRB - 15025/2ND QTR The contractor shall provide all labor, parts and materials to accomplish the following requirements in the Statement of Work (SOW). All work will be done in accordance with requirements contained in the original contract specifications and will be done at contractor's business location. SCOPE Refurbish up to four of PAFB Outdoor Recreation's deck boats and restore them to fully-functional, safe and aesthetically-acceptable condition: • Perform 500 Hour Service - Mercury 150HP Optimax outboard motor, to include Parts, Labor & Computer Diagnostic print-out; (6 spark plugs, 1 belt, 1 engine fuel filter, 3 oil filters, 2 thermostats, 1 pressure relief valve, 1 water pump kit with housing and impeller, lower gear case oil changed) • Replace side-mount Control Shifter and Safety Lanyard Switch • Replace Throttle and Shift Cables • Replace any non-functional gauges on instrument panel • Replace any and all corroded wiring, wire harnesses, connectors and fuses • Replace Marine VHF Radio, Antenna and Bracket Mount • Replace Anchor Light and any non-working or broken Nav. Lights • Replace Water Fuel Separator Assembly and associated fuel hoses • Replace Fuel Hose Assembly with Primer Bulb • Replace Steering Wheel • Replace entire Rub Rail with black base and black insert • Replace Cup Holders • Replace Plexiglas Windscreen for helm • Replace SS Camel Hook Clips with SS screws • Replace Bimini top Canvas • Replace Bimini top Straps • Replace existing bilge access plate in motor well with larger, Rectangular Access Plate • Install 3" Access Plates where necessary • Reupholster cockpit cushions over existing composite backs and foam. Replace helm seat and back cushions. All cushions will be steam treated to bring back firmness and shape. • Repair all holes, chip and scratches in fiberglass/gelcoat • Detail - clean, wax and buff hull all exterior fiberglass/gelcoat, clean and polish all metalwork • Bottom Paint with Pacifica Black boat bottom paint GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Work will be completed to boat manufacturer's specifications and/or USCG vessel safety requirements. 2. Boats will be returned clean and ready to use, with all work completely finished. 3. Parts and hardware used will be the types designed for saltwater marine environment. a. Stainless steel will be used in lieu of chrome or zinc-plated metals. b. Tinned aluminum or copper wiring will be used in lieu of unshielded copper wiring. EXISTING CONDITIONS 1. Any additional item(s) on each boat, not identified in this SOW, will be communicated to Outdoor Recreation management, via the contract officer.
