Description
This is an EMERGENCY repair acquisition for a firm quantity of 10 / 4 each. The Government intends to solicit BAE Systems, 550 Pulaski Road, Greenlawn NY 11740-1609 (CAGE: 80249). The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The instant contract will be awarded with provisions for Firm Fixed Price repair Contract Line Items (CLINs). The approximate award date is 15 Apr 2015. This synopsis is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government, or as a Request for Proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting a Statement of Capabilities to Charles Harris at Charles.Harris.3@robins.af.mil. A determination by the Government whether or not to compete the instant contract based upon an assessment of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors not sufficiently addressed by the Contracting Officer. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Contracting Officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation or selection process.
