- Description
- The Department of Veteran Affairs and Network Contract Office 17 (NCO 17) anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price supply contract for the Dallas VA Hospital. These are supplies for a Dallas VA project entitled, "Renovate Dallas Medical Inpatient Nursing Unit for In-Patient Privacy 7B". This project number is 549-13-1305, and is located at the VA Medical Center, 4500 South Lancaster Road, Dallas TX 75216. This procurement will be a brand name justification for twelve Hill Rom Head Walls or Flat Walls to be delivered to the above address. The delivery type shall be days after receipt of order, which will be 90 days. The Hill Rom head wall or flat wall, model number P670, must be purchased to be compatible with other Dallas VA Hill Rom head walls and headwall accessories. The Dallas VA Medical Center has invested a significant amount in Hill Rom headwall accessories. The headwall accessories, such as the IV pole holder, baskets, diagnostic devises, etc., are only compatible with Hill Rom headwalls. Hill Rom headwalls have been previously installed in other areas of the Dallas VA Facility. These accessories are not interchangeable with other headwall manufactures. The Hill Rom head wall, Hill Rom nurse call system, and the Hill Rom Beds all work together as a unit. Other headwall manufactures can connect to the Hill Rom Beds and nurse call systems, but require tailoring of connectors in order to connect. This does not limit the ability for multiple vendors to provide a quote for these head walls. There are several Hill Rom distributors or vendor representatives who can provide a quote for these head walls, and are small businesses. The method of procurement shall be a Request for Quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13. Issue date will be on or about April 24, 2015. Proposal closing date will be on or about May 15, 2015. This procurement is a 100% Set Aside for Small Business. The NAICS code is 2339113, with business size standard at 500 employees. Probable Cost Range: $25,000 and $100,000
