Description

This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) Biloxi, MS has a requirement for testing and certification of Backflow Preventers locates at the Biloxi, Mississippi VA Medical Center. These preventers are for potable water flow. Testing and certification services are required annually during the fourth quarter of each year. Simplified acquisition procedures will be used and the resulting contract will be firm fixed price. The base period of performance will be from July 1, 2015 through September 30, 2015, with four (4) annual; three (3) month option periods. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 and the Small Disadvantage Veteran Owned Business size standard is $15.0 million. This procurement is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement. The Solicitation for this service will follow this notice, at which time quotes will be accepted and shall be considered by the agency. Point of Contact: tina.harris3@va.gov No telephone calls will be accepted. No solicitation package is available for this pre-solicitation notice. The solicitation package for the requirement shall be posted on or about April 15, 2015. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
