Description
Description: This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Regional Contracting Office for the 414th CSB in Vicenza, Italy will use the responses to this notice to determine potential responsible vendors capable of providing the services described herein. BACKGROUND: The purpose of this procurement is to provide cleaning, repair, replacement service of furniture for U.S. Government owned furniture at Caserma Carlo Elderle, Villaggio and Del Din - U.S. Garrison Vicenza, Italy. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Cleaning, repair and replacement service will be executed at the U.S. Army Garrison Vicenza, Italy which includes the following locations: Caserma Carlo Ederle, Del Din and Villaggio. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Contractor shall provide all management services, supervision, personnel, labor, vehicles, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, general, specialized equipment and all other items. The services required is to provide repair to damaged U.S. government property housing furniture to near original and complete working condition to include cleaning of each item of furniture. Contactor shall remove/dispose old and non functional curtain rods/blinds and install new curtain/vertical blinds at U.S. Army installation: Villaggio and Del Din. Contractor shall provide repair and cleaning of the following items (not all inclusive list): 1) sofa two seat, 2)wooden arms vinyl cover, 3) sofa three seat wooden arms vinyl cover, 4) chair with vinyl seat, 5) desk chair, 5) bookcase, 6) chest three drawers, 7)headboard single, 8) coffee table,9) end table, 10) television stand, 11) double dresser, 12) desk, 13) dining table, 14)square table, 15) round table, 16) bed platform with four draws, 17) entertainment unit, 18)wardrobe folding, 19)wardrobe knock-down (kd), 20) kitchen cabinet one door, and 21)chest 5/6 drawers 22) pool table top. The material of each furniture item varies. Contractor shall repair furniture at a current U.S. government location unless coordination is made prior to movement of item (s). The contractor shall perform scheduled and unscheduled furniture repair/cleaning services. All work performed under this contract shall be in accordance with all applicable and current United States and Italian laws, policies, and regulations, including but not limited to Italian commercial practice standards. Contractor shall perform services from 0800 to 1630 Monday to Friday with exception for days that are on stated United States and Italian holidays. TYPE OF CONTRACT: The U.S. Government will award a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: CHANGE 1: The U.S. Government intends to award a firm fixed price, single-award blanket purchase agreement. The duration of the single-award purchase agreement is one year plus four one-year option years. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: It is requested that interested vendors submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating the ability to perform the services listed above. In order to deem the vendors' responsibility, such package shall include the following documentation: 1. Certificato Camera di Commercio (Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce) NOT older than six (6) months at the time set forth for the receipt of the source sought inquiry. Self certifications are NOT allowed. 2. SAM Registration. In order to register on SAM website ( https://www.sam.gov ), vendors must have a DUNS number ( obtainable on http://dbitaly.dnb.com ) and a NATO code (obtainable www.dlis.dla.mil/forms/form_AC135.asp). The successful offeror to be awarded this contract MUST be currently registered in the SAM database. The capability statement package must be sent by email to MAJ Van Isra at van.p.isra.mil@mail.mil. Submissions of interest must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. Central European Time (CET) on 24 April 2015. All submissions must be in English. Questions or comments regarding this notice must be addressed to MAJ Van Isra and van.p.isra.mil@mail.mil no later than 22 April 2015. This announcement should not be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government to issue a solicitation or to ultimately award a contract in the future.
