Description

This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE- The Minneapolis VA Medical Center requires the part-time services of a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. The scope of services required by the Associate Chief Orthopedic Surgery include: staff outpatient clinic; provide inpatient attending; provide surgical procedures; consultative services; train and supervise orthopedic surgery residents; and provide on-call coverage. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621111 with a size standard of $11.0 million. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside. Offers will be evaluated on past performance, technical ability, and price. Procurement is being made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 Commercial Items. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 6-month base period with one (1) 6-month options to renew. Service will begin May 1, 2015 (or date of award) through October 31, 2015 for the base period. Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing.
