- The United States Air Force through Air Force Support Center (AFSC) at Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is intending to procure service of removal action of line items cited below for a FFP Requirements Contract. This is a sole source service effort. •1. Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date issued 1 May 2015, Closes 1 June 2015. •2. RFP# - FA8119-15-Q-0024 •3. PR# - FD2030-15-01871 •4. Nomenclature/Noun - Sprung Tensator (Pod Assembly) 5. NSN - 1680-99-681-5560 FL 6. PN - 43323000-6 7. Application (Engine or Aircraft) - KC-135 Aircraft 8. AMC - R3R-acquire, for the second or subsequently time, directly from the actual manufacturer. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to contract repair of this part from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part. This code is used when the Government did not initially purchase the data and/or rights. Approved source: Flight Refueling Limited, Cage code: U1918. 9. History - N/A 10. Description: Line Item 0001: Remove of Sprung Tensator in order to put in replacement. Description: Remove of Sprung Tensator. The aircraft Pod assembly is a self-contained underwing store that delivers fuel from a tanker aircraft fuel system to a receiver aircraft. Sprung Tensator is inside the Pod.. Quantity: 2 each. Required Delivery - 1 lot (2 units) tensators to be removed by FRL (Cobham) within the 10 days requested. 11. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
