Description
The United States Air Force, AFLCMC/Operational Contracting Branch, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is seeking capabilities packages of potential sources, including Small Business (SB), HUBZone, Economically-Disadvantaged Woman-Owned (EDWO), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) small business concerns. This sources sought is for planning purposes only. The scope of this project is to Replace Roof Data Center, Facility 10271; Project Number ZHTV110048. Remove and re-roof approximately 91,000 SF (including walkway connector) of existing roof system including new roof materials, layout and details for insulation, flashing, expansion joints, scuppers, roof-access hatch, metal roof, asphalt roofing plies, gravel, gutters, downspouts, counter flashing, drip edges, cant strips, pipe collars and roof drains, etc. for facility 10271 at Wright Patterson AFB. According to 1989 As-Built drawings, existing Roof construction is metal deck, phenolic insulation, perlite fill, with 4-ply built-up roofing system and gravel. Pre-test the existing lightening protection system. Remove, store, and reinstall all lightening protection system components in order to remove existing roof and install new roof. Replace any damaged components to provide a complete and usable lightening protection system at project completion. Facility is considered an Electronic Equipment Facility/Data Center and the Lightening protection system must comply with the grounding requirements specific for this type of AF Facility. Remove, temporarily store, and reinstall all existing electrical, communications, security, and utility equipment located on the roof-top in order to install new roof system. Flush out roof drains and storm piping and provide new ring clamp and bolts for existing roof drains. Provide all new walk treads. Provide all new flashing. Provide all new storm collars. Provide all new pitch pans and all new pipe flashing.
