Description
Colville National Forest, Bangs Mtn and Trout Lake Road Surfacing and Reconditioning, Three Rivers Ranger District, Ferry County, Washington State. The Colville National Forest located in North Eastern Washington State has a requirement for the hauling, placing, processing and compaction of 5,033 CY of aggregate between mile post 0.0 and the end of 5.2 miles of Forest Road #2000020 (Trout Lake) and, 3,581 CY of aggregate between mile post 0.0 and ending at mile post 3.7 of Forest Road #2000136 (Bangs Mtn). The work will include road and ditch reconditioning, minor scarification, vibratory roller compaction, culvert installation and drainage reconditioning. All slough and debris shall be removed and disposed. The Contractor shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the drawings and specification of the contract. To get to the project from Colville, WA, travel north 13 miles on Highway 395 to WA State Highway 20 (Sherman Pass Scenic Byway), then 5.2 miles to Forest Road 2000020 (beginning of project), continue on State Hwy 20 2.6 miles beyond Trout Lake Road to Forest Road 2000136 (beginning of project). The work is estimated to start approximately around June 15, 2015 and the work must be completed by August 31, 2015. The project is estimated between $250,000 to $500,000. The awarded Contractor will have to provide a bid guarantee, payment and performance bond.s This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably prices. Where available, these products would first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P). This project will be advertised as a written request for proposals. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about May 4, 2015. The actual due date of proposals will be listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on this site. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. NAICS code is 237310, size standard is $36.5 million.
