Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number for this requirement is W912J215Q2505. The 128 Air Refueling Wing, Milwaukee, WI, requires the following in order to meet the requirement for the PLZT Goggles. The PLZT Goggles are the primary protection against flash blindness for the aircrew. The parts are required to mount the PLZT Goggles to the aircrew helmets. All parts must be authorized in accordance with T.O. 14P3-9-21 and T.O. 14P3-4-151. This will be a brand name or equal requirement. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-75 effective 24 June 2014 and DFAR DPN 20150406. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 336413, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 Employees. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded.
