- This notice is issued to determine interest and capability of potential sources for a potential procurement, and is for preliminary planning/market research purposes only. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this potential procurement is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a corresponding small business size standard of $15.0 million. The order of magnitude Estimated contract value: Between $400,000 and $800,000. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Far East, Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division (FEAD), Public Works Department, NAS Joint Reserve Base (JRB), Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a response from interested firms that qualify as a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Certified 8(a), SBA Certified HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) with self-performance experience in the types of work likely to be ordered on any potential procurement. For more information on the definition or requirements for these, refer to http://www.sba.gov/. All firms are reminded that they must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible to receive any potential contract award. SCOPE OF WORK: The work includes CLN 0001 and three Option CLNs. All or some of the options items may be awarded at initial contract award or within 180 days of contract award. CLN 0001: The work includes Provide 300 kW emergency generator with automatic transfer switch and associated conduit and wiring at Building 1251. Work shall also include miscellaneous demolition of concrete work and underground electrical service and incidental related work. Option CLN 0002: The work includes replacing existing 2,500 kVA transformer at Building 4210 with new 700 kVA transformer. Work also includes miscellaneous wiring, conduit, site, and incidental work. Option CLN 0003: The work includes installing amber edge lights at Taxiway F, Taxiway D and Taxiway J; install threshold lights at each end of north-south runway, relocation of runway signs and incidental related work. Option CLN 0004: Electrical upgrade to primary feeders including, but not limited to, replacing knife blade switches at seven (7) feeders and two (2) primary circuit breakers. It is anticipated that the contract performance period will be 180 days.
