The intent of the sessions will be to enhance our Government-and-industry communication and enable industry to respond quicker to critical emerging requirements with innovative technology solutions and partnerships. This event will serve as the kick-off meeting, designed to: -Assist industry in identifying and aligning efforts with Army network modernization priorities -Provide industry status on the Army's tactical network modernization and current status of PEO C3T portfolio efforts -Address industry feedback on specific topics from recent engagements and FBO posted Request for Information -Seek industry input on acquisition improvements and opportunities that exist within the tactical network portfolio The Industry Forum will consist of two panels, which will provide industry representatives with the status of PEO C3T programs, procurements, and the opportunity to request updates on specific procurements of interest in a question-and-answer format. Panel one will include senior Army leaders that will discuss Army network imperatives, the status of the PEO C3T portfolio, the Science & Technology focus, and an update from the ACC. Industry responses to a previous Request for Information helped to shape discussion topics for panel two, which will consist of program officials and contracting center representatives. Questions will be permitted during the Tactical Network Industry Forum regarding the Army's portfolio direction, requirements, acquisition, laboratory assessment efforts and execution. Questions will not be permitted in regards to any portfolio system in current source selection. Questions answered during the forum will be noted and posted to the FBO government website so all potential vendors can view them after the event. A confirmation email with a complete final agenda for the Forum will be provided after the registration process is completed, no later than Tuesday 10 April 2015. The Tactical Network Industry Forum will be held from 0800-1200EST on Tuesday 21 April 2015. Registration will be open to the first 350 people wishing to participate in the Tactical Network Industry Forum. It is not required to have participated in a previous Industry Day/Forum or be a current PEO C3T vendor in order to register for this Forum. Registration requests must be submitted by 1700EST on 8 April 2015 and attendees will be chosen on a first-come-first-serve basis. ONE-ON-ONE VENDOR FEEDBACK SESSIONS After the Tactical Network Industry Forum concludes, the Army will offer an opportunity for one-on-one feedback sessions with select large and small businesses who are interested in or executing current tactical network development efforts. The sessions will give individual industry partners an opportunity to sit face-to-face with senior Army Leadership. These 20 minute sessions will not focus on specific products or discuss current source selection, competition sensitive information or test results. The one-on-one sessions will be focused on open conversation between industry and Army leaders that could cover these broad topics: 1. Improve acquisition processes. 2. Discuss general industry questions about network modernization goals. 3. Gather industry thoughts on improvements for S&T and program office collaboration. 4. Discuss industry thoughts on how to streamline requirements processes. 5. Discuss industry best practices for network system engineering, development and protection. There will be approximately five sessions scheduled and space is limited. Selected industry attendees will be invited to participate in sessions after submission of a completed application form (second attachment). It is not necessary for industry partners to participate in the Tactical Network Industry Forum in order to participate in the customer feedback sessions. Those industry partners meeting the specific criteria established for participation will be selected on a first come, first serve basis for participation with a minimum of 20% of sessions reserved for small business attendees. Minimum criteria for selection to participate in the Vendor Feedback Sessions are as follows: 1. Applications must be submitted NLT 1700EST on Wednesday 8 APRIL 2015. Applications will be accepted prior to deadline and attendees meeting all criteria will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis. 2. All required fields on the application form must be complete. 3. A minimum of one senior representative from each Industry Partner Organization must be in attendance and identified in the application. This individual must be at the executive level of leadership within the organization. 4. Space is limited to a total of five individuals from each industry organization per meeting, including the required senior representative, and individuals must be identified in the application. 5. Industry Partners must submit at least two topics/questions they would like to address with the panel of senior Army Leadership during their one-on-one session, if selected. Full agenda and schedules for the one-on-one Vendor Feedback Sessions will be provided after the application process is complete and all selected industry vendors must confirm their participation. Industry partners not selected to participate in the Vendor Feedback Sessions should look for future opportunities to participate in additional Vendor Feedback Sessions on the FBO website.
