Description

1. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Puget Sound Healthcare System, Seattle VA campus, intends to solicit quotations for CATV infrastructure upgrades. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Quotations number is VA260-15-Q-0536. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 - Electrical contractors and other wiring installation contractors and the size standard is $15.0 million. This solicitation will be set-aside for Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) 3. The intended contract period is date of award through completion of work. It is intended a site visit be held at the Seattle VA campus on Monday, 04/17/2015. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the FedBizOpps website, http://www.fbo.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is 4/20/2015, and the anticipated closing date is 04/30/2015. Interested contractors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Quotations from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering a response to this notice should ensure that their registration in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database http://www.sam.gov/ is current and should ensure that the applicable NAICS code (238210) is included in the SAM profile prior to submission of quotations.
