1.This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and is being conducted under FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2.The solicitation number is VA249-15-Q-0443 and is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ) 3.Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations supplement (VAAR) can be accessed on the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm (FAR) and http://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/ (VAAR) 4.This solicitation is issued as a small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112, and the size standard is 500 employees. 5.This requirement consists of two line items: a.CLIN 1: Hospital Training Manikin, Simple Susie SB23540U OR EQUAL 2 EACH b.CLIN 2: Hospital Training Manikin, Simple Simon SB23541U OR EQUAL 3 EACH NOTE: Offerors submitting quotations on Equal items shall provide the Manufacturer's Name, Brand and Part Number, and technical specifications for each item.
