Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is 0010659314 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-81. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335312 with a small business size standard of 1,000.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2015-05-01 12:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be FORT RUCKER, AL 36362 The MICC Fort Rucker requires the following items, Purchase Description Determined by Line Item, to the following: LI 001: Rental of Main stage: Main Stage 40' X 32' X 4' stage with skirting with two sets of stairs including rails Contractor must provide a stamped, certified engineering report on the exact roofing structure to be provided by a licensed structural engineer. ANSI Code E1.21.2006 must be adhered to for outdoor temporary structures. A High Wind Plan must be submitted to the Band prior to 2 July 2015. FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 002: Rental of Front of House: Front of House Stage measuring 20' X 12' with 20' X 10' roof or overhead cover FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 003: Rental of stage roof: 45' X 43' Certified Engineered Structure Roof Installed. Roof must be certified by industry engineer to withstand 40 mph winds. (Roof for Stage) FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 004: Rental of Speaker Mains Brand/Model: JBL Top of the line Vertec 4889 Rig, 20 boxes plus BassMaxx Subs or equal FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 005: Rental of Mixing Board: Avid SC 48 Digital Mixing Console for Front of House with Phoenix Plugins (48 Channel minimum) or equal FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 006: Rental of monitor mix console: SoundCraft 32 Digital Channel Mixing Console or equal FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 007: Rental of monitor mix system: 8 Channel Monitor Mix System or equal FOB: Destination, 2, EA; LI 008: Rental of lighting package: Front and Rear Par Style Lighting Package (60K power). Must be capable of illuminating 40' x 32' stage and provide special perfomance effects (rotating colors, strobes, ect)., 1, EA; LI 009: Rental of digital snake Digital Snake Package; 40 inbound channels by 8 outbound channels with transformer and isolated Monitor tail FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 010: Rental of spotlights: 2 Spotlights for stage, situated on elevated Decks for maximum production effect FOB: Destination, 2, EA; LI 011: Rental of wireless microphone package: Wireless Mic Package to include 5 wireless microphones for vocal and instrumental use FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 012: Rental of microphone stand package: Mic Stand Package to include the approperiate mic stands for all microphones in CLIN 13 FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 013: Rental of wired microphone package: Microphone Package to include no less than 15 wired microphones for vocal and instrumental use FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 014: Rental of distribution system: Distribution System and Feeder, suited to work with all other CLINS FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 015: Delivery and Removal from Fort Rucker Arrival on/about 27 JUN 2015 Sound Check and full dress rehearsal on/about 1 JUL 2015; Main Performance on 2 JUL 2015; Depart on/about 5 JUL 2014. Vendor is responsible for delivery, set up, quality checks, operation, and removal of their own equipment. Druing sound check (also known as dress rehearsal) and the main performance, vendor is responsible for providing audio and light support to the Band on a prearranged set list. Each rehearsal and performance will last approximately 6 hours. Required personnel to accomplish scope of work is at the discretion of the contractor with the approval of the Band Commander or his designatee. FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 016: All Labor to Install, Build, Operate, and Remove Arrival is authorized on/about 27 JUN 2015; Sound Check on/about 1 JUL 2015; Main Performance on 2 JUL 2015; Depart on/about 6 JUL 2014 Vendor is responsible for delivery, set up, operation, and removal of their own equipment. The vendor is responsible for all per diem, hotel, and incidental expenses for his/her own employees. FOB: Destination, 1, EA; LI 017: Vendor will provide someone to accomplish the following tasks: -Front of House technician -Sound technician -Light technician -Live Video production Required personnel to accomplish scope of work is at the discretion of the vendor with the approval of the Band Commander or his designatee. Vendor will operate and maintain all of their own equipment., 1, EA; LI 018: Rental of Moving lights: Minimum 8 Head LED moving wash light system and related support equipment, 1, EA; LI 019: Rental of LED video screen: Kaleidoscope Ko8 model; 16.8' by 10.5' LED VIDEO SCREEN. 8 Mil Panels, RGBLink Processed or equal, 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC Fort Rucker intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MICC Fort Rucker is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com.
