- This special notice is to announce the issuance of solicitation W911QY-15-R-0021, which is currently available on the Natick Contracting Division Website at the following URL (accessible also from the link at the bottom of this page): http://www3.natick.army.mil/W911QY-15-R-0021.aspx For interested parties accessing the solicitation and other posted documents for this acquisition at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website, please use documents posted under 'Government User Uploaded Solicitation Files' ONLY. DO NOT USE the document under 'System Generated Solicitation Files.' The Improved Multi-Band INTER/INTRA Team Radio (IMBITR) Push-To-Talk (PTT) effort is being solicited as a total small business set-aside. Refer to the solicitation for date and time for receipt of proposals. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, supplies, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to provide Push-To-Talk (PTT) devices and cable sets capable of connecting to a single radio with two audio channels via a single cable and PTT. The PTT may be powered or unpowered. Powered PTTs must draw power from the improved Multi-Band Inter/Intra Team Radio (I-MBITR) battery vice adding their external power source. The I-MBITR is a unique dual channel handheld radio that provides two separate audio output/microphone input channels from a single radio. The Government requires multiple solutions to ensure interoperability with existing headsets such as the Atlantic Signal, Invisio, Peltor, Silynx, Sordin, and Spear. All work required shall be in strict accordance with the detailed requirements of the technical provisions and specifications. Refer to the solicitation for further details.
