Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Contracting Office intends to award a sole source, five year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract to small business contractor The Binding Site, Inc., 5889 Oberlin Dr., Suite 101, San Diego, CA 92121-3749. The contract is for a Cost per Test (CPT) / Reagent Rental agreement for an automated Plasma Protein Testing system for performing only KAPPA and Lambda Free Light Chain Testing for the VISN 1 Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service for the VA Boston Healthcare System, West Roxbury campus, Immunology department. A Sources Sought was posted and market research was conducted and it was found that The Binding Site is the only available source that can provide the necessary reagents, supplies, equipment, and services needed for KAPPA and Lambda Free Light Chain Testing for the VISN 1 Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service for the VA Boston Healthcare System, West Roxbury campus, Immunology department. This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation for offers. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement for possible consideration in future procurements by the Government to Christopher.Humphrey@va.gov no later than 05/01/2015.
