- Description
- The Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Office is seeking a qualified firm to support the Collaborative Reform Initiative for Technical Assistance (CRI-TA). The selected firm will provide technical assistance in the form of research, analysis and training to address the issues facing the law enforcement field by objectively analyzing and assessing specific law enforcement agencies' policies, procedures, and tactics; developing findings and recommendations that are consistent with promising practices in the field of policing; assisting agencies with implementation; and, finally, conducting and publishing follow up assessments to ensure that agencies are held accountable for implementing these reforms. Using FAR Part 15 negotiated procedures, a solicitation will be issued and a competition held with the objective of awarding a single indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract that will provide the necessary support for up to 5 years (one base year plus four option years). Performance will be required in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area as well as in designated locations throughout the contiguous United States. The solicitation will be available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fbo.gov, and is anticipated to be released on or about May 6, 2015. Amendments to the solicitation, if any, issued prior to the receipt of proposals will also be posted on www.fbo.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site for access to the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government. It is highly recommended that, prior to submitting a proposal, interested parties obtain a Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number and register in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, as these requirements are mandatory for any firm selected for a contract award.
