Description
RECOVERY ? This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to fund the resulting fixed-price contract in whole via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Pub. L. 111-5) (Recovery Act). Solicitation SSA-RFQ-15-0372 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), under full and open competition, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures at FAR Part 13. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-81. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 424720, with a small business size standard of 100 employees. The Office of Acquisition and Grants (OAG) is seeking to purchase on an all-or-none basis various brand-name parts and equipment for the Process Control System (PCS)/Building Automation System (BAS) at the National Support Center (NSC) in Urbana, MD. The Offeror certifies that it is an authorized distributer of the brand name products being sold to SSA and that it has the certification/specialization level required by the manufacturer to support both the product sale and product pricing in accordance with applicable manufacturer certification/specialization requirements. In addition, the Offeror warrants that all proposed products are new, unaltered and unused, and in their original packaging. All products must be covered by the manufacturer?s warranty as well. ********** Delivery shall occur five days after award in coordination with the technical point of contact assigned to this requirement. The technical point of contact, along with his or her contact information, will be provided upon award. FOB Destination is required for the following location: National Support Center (NSC) Receiving Dock, 8999 Bennett Creek Boulevard, Frederick, MD 21704 ********** Refer to the Addendum to the SF-1449 (SSA-RFQ-15-0372), along with any other attachments, via FedConnect, for instructions for submitting a quotation in response to this solicitation. Please be sure to sign and complete boxes 30a ? 30c of the SF-1449, and review and address, as applicable, the following FAR provisions, as incorporated in the Addendum to the SF-1449: 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items (OCT 2014) 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Commercial Items (NOV 2014) For the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Commercial Items (NOV 2014), complete only paragraph (b) of this provision if you have previously completed the annual representations and certificates electronically via http://www.acquisition.gov.
