Attachment 1 MMR Sources Sought Response Form This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE is being issued by the Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), on behalf of the Program Executive Office (PEO) Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS) 2.0 Above Water Sensors Directorate. The Government is conducting market research related to shipboard Multi-Mode Radar (MMR) non-developmental systems to assess potential use aboard United States Navy and United States Coast Guard (USCG) ships. MMRs are short-range target detection and reporting, surface and air surveillance radars. This notice is for market research purposes only and does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal. This notice shall not be construed as a contract, a promise to contract, or as a commitment of any kind by the Government. The Government is NOT seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for conducting market research in accordance with FAR Part 10 and gathering information for planning purposes. PEO IWS 2.0 is seeking companies with existing non-developmental MMRs, complete with the data, software, and technical information necessary to successfully integrate an MMR with other ship platform systems and support an MMR throughout its expected lifecycle. Companies responding to this Sources Sought Notice shall complete the "Contractor Response" column for each MMR Characteristic/Capability Item identified in the Attachment 1 MMR Sources Sought Response Form. Where additional information is requested, companies shall provide that information, identified by the corresponding Item Number, in a single, separate White Paper not to exceed 20 pages. White papers submitted in conjunction with the Attachment 1 Response Form shall be in electronic format. The font size shall not be smaller than 12 pt. font. The top, bottom, left and right margins shall not be less than 3/4 inches. A cover page for the white paper shall be included. The cover page shall include the company name, address, CAGE Code, and points of contract (names, email, and telephone numbers) at a minimum. The cover page is not considered in the total page count. SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES : NAVSEA will accept only electronic unclassified submission of responses. The completed Attachment 1 MMR Sources Sought Response Form and Whitepaper responses are due 14 calendar days from the date of this posting to John N. Butto at john.butto@navy.mil with the subject line "MMR Sources Sought Response to N00024-15-R-5371". All responses shall be unclassified and shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer by 02:00 p.m. local time on 7 MAY 2015.
