- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The contract resulting from this procurement will be a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation SPE600-15-Q-0237 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Part 13. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72 dated 26 December 2014. DPAS rating for potential award is DO. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation may be reviewed/obtained in full text form at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm. Scope of Contract: NSN: 9130-00-359-2026 CLIN 0001 - The contractor to provide (15,000 USG) of JET A FUEL (JAA) at Fort Lee, VA - Bldg. 12246 - Grant Ave PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY Delivery Location: 9 TANKER LOC AT MILITARY FIELD TRAINING SITE (BLDG 12246) Fuel will be transferred to 20K tanks. Metered ticket required. Fuel must be checked for additives before acceptance. Hours of delivery 0900 to 1500. Delivery Notes: TT w / pump & meter -Truck to Truck transfer Delivery Ticket Notes: Metered delivery tickets required Special Messages: FUEL IS NOT CAPITALIZED Safety Data Sheets are required for classifying chemicals and communicating the applicable information on labels. In accordance with the revised standard after June 1, 2015: 1. Suppliers will be required to submit, to the contracting officer for review and approval prior to award, safety data sheets consistent with the requirements found at 29 C.F.R. 1910.1200 for hazardous materials delivered to the Government. 2. Suppliers will also be required to submit, to the contracting officer for review and approval prior to award, hazardous warning labels in accordance with 29 C.F.R. 1910.1200 for hazardous materials delivered to the Government. 3. Finally, suppliers must train their employees on the new safety data sheets, hazardous warning labels, and requirements of 29 C.F.R. 1910.1200.
