- Description
- DARPA-SN-15-45 SEEKER COST TRANSFORMATION PROPOSERS' DAY CONFERENCE DARPA will host a Proposers' Day Workshop in support of DARPA-BAA-15-41, Seeker Cost Transformation (SECTR) on May 11, 2015 at the DARPA Conference Center located at 675 N. Randolph St., Arlington, VA 22203 from 9:00am to 3:30pm. The purpose of this conference is to provide information on the SECTR program; promote additional discussion on this topic; address questions from potential proposers; and provide a forum for potential proposers to present their capabilities for teaming opportunities. PROGRAM OBJECTIVE AND DESCRIPTION: The objective of the SECTR program is the development of a low-size, weight and power (SWaP) and low-cost, passive day/night (extremely low light) seeker prototype providing navigation and precision terminal homing to a weapon platform, which may engage moving, re-locatable and stationary targets in varied terrain environments where the Global Positioning System (GPS) may not be reliably available. REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Participants must register NLT May 7, 2015 at the following website: https://safe.sysplan.com/confsys/sectr/. Directions to the facility and other materials are also available on the website. There is no registration fee for attending this conference. Due to space limitations of the conference facility, attendance will be limited to the first 150 registrants, and no more than 3 representatives per organization. The Proposers' Day will be conducted at the SECRET security level. All participants will require a SECRET personnel security clearance. See the registration website for information on submitting clearances. All attendees will be required to present government issued photo identification upon entry to the event. The Proposers' Day does not constitute a formal solicitation for proposals or proposal abstracts. Attendance is voluntary and is not required to propose to any potential related Broad Agency Announcements or potential research solicitations on this topic. DARPA will not provide reimbursement for any costs incurred to participate in this Proposers' Day. An attendee list will be provided after the event to those individuals that attended the Proposers Day. One-on-One meetings can be scheduled on a first come, first served basis through the registration website. Only one session can be booked per organization.
