- Western Area Power Administration, Upper Great Plains Region has a requirement for the following: 795 kcmil 26/7 stranding, ACSS `DRAKE? Ultra-High Strength 32,600 pounds Zinc-5% aluminum-mischmetal alloy-coated steel core wire. This conductor shall come on three (3) returnable metal reels sized appropriately for the 7,000 feet of wire required on each reel, and 954 kcmil 30/19 stranding, ACSS `CANVASBACK? Ultra-High Strength 53,100 pounds Zinc-5% aluminum-mischmetal alloy-coated steel core wire This conductor shall come on three (3) non-returnable wood reels sized appropriately for the 3,000 feet of wire required on each reel. STATE WHICH COUNTRY MANUFACTURES THE WIRE DIRECTLY ON YOUR QUOTE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. See attached specifications for details. This solicitation is issued 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 335931 with a Size Standard of 500 employees or less.
