- Army Contracting Command - APG Fort Belvoir Division, on behalf of Project Manager Expeditionary Energy and Sustainment Systems (PM E2S2) is sponsoring an Industry Day on Monday, 27 April 2015 for the MEP-PU-810A/B Deployable Power Generation and Distribution System (DPGDS) Prime Power Unit (PPU) Recapitalization. The location of the event will be at the Headquarters, 249th Engineer Battalion, Jackson Loop, Building 1416, Fort Belvoir, VA. See attached map. Industry partners are encouraged to attend, however due to facility space limitations, are restricted to two (2) representatives per company/team. Additionally, vendors may schedule one-on-one meetings with the Government to discuss the proposed acquisition. These meetings are scheduled to begin promptly at 1300 hrs. The industry day briefings are all unclassified. Questions and answers presented will be recorded and posted. Accordingly, information will NOT be treated as proprietary unless specifically identified as such; please be aware that identifying information as quote mark proprietary quote mark may preclude them from being incorporated into the final solicitation. This announcement should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Industry Day. Registration Instructions: Interested participants must pre register for the Industry Day via email to brett.p.allen3.civ@mail.mil. Please submit the following information for each individual no later than close of business 17 April 2015 to pre-register for Industry Day. A maximum of two (2) individuals per company will be permitted to register/attend. Telephone requests will not be accepted. 1.Individual attendee's full name 2.Individual attendee's e-mail address 3.Company name 4.Company Cage Code 5.Indicate your Company size (large or small business) 6.Telephone number 7.U.S. Federal or state issued photo ID card required at Industry Day check-in 8.Do you wish to have your company name included on a list of attendees to be distributed to Industry Day attendees? When submitting registration information, please include quote mark DPGDS Industry Day Registration quote mark in the email subject line. Directions and additional information will be provided to the registrants. There is no registration fee. One-on-One Session Instructions: Optional one-on-one sessions will be available; requests must be submitted during registration. One-on-One sessions will be a maximum of 45 minutes and may consist of a presentation by the requesting organization to include company background and ideas/questions/concerns meeting the DPGDS requirements. All presentation materials must be provided via email NLT 21 April 2015. These meetings are scheduled to begin promptly at 1300 hrs on 27 April 2015. Depending on the number of interested participants, additional one-on-one sessions may be held on 28 April 2015. An opportunity to submit written questions will be provided during Industry Day. Industry Day attendees will be instructed to submit their questions on 5x8 cards (5x8 cards will be provided). This announcement should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Industry Day. Vendors should plan to use Tulley Gate at Fort Belvoir for entry. Information concerning gaining access to Fort Belvoir can be found at http://www.belvoir.army.mil/allaccess.asp. While entry times vary, representatives should plan for one hour to go through the visitor badging process at Tulley Gate.
