NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW** Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about April 24, 2015. Description: The purpose of this work is to secure stand exam data in the Snow Mountain Project area. The Contractor shall locate and collect data for 700 stand exam inventory plots. Work includes: Establishing plots within each unit, Collecting stand exam and surface fuel data within each plot and providing inventory data in electronic file format for Field Sampled Vegetation (FSVeg) upload. Location: The Snow Mountain Project area is located in Butte and Plumas Counties, California, on the Almanor Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest, approximately 20 air-miles south-southwest of Chester, CA. The legal description is T. 25 N., R. 4 E., Sections 1, 2, 11, and 12; T. 25 N., R. 5 E. Sections 1-11, and 16; and T. 26 N., R. 5 E., Sections 20-22 and 26-35, Mount Diablo Meridian. Contract Time: June 1, 2015 through March 31, 2016. Estimated Start Date: June 1, 2015. Set-Aside: This project is set aside 100% for Small business. Response Location: Proposals will be accepted by post/delivery to the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than 4:30 p.m. PDT on date indicated on solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases. Registration in SAM is 100% free at www.sam.gov.
