- The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk, VA intends to negotiate a Brand Name, Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity type contract with Firm Fixed Price provisions under FAR Part 13.5 Test Programs for Certain Commercial Items with Lenel and their Value Added Resellers (VARs). This procurement will be brand name due to the unique specifications of the network, as well as keeping consistency with the current configurations when adding new equipment tie-ins. The contractor will provide preventative maintenance, program support, non-emergency/emergency repairs, as well as new work (such as installation of new equipment and software, realignment of existing equipment, addition of buildings, etc), technical refresh and software license renewals for the security management system located on the Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mechanicsburg. A complete RFQ package will be available on or around April 27, 2014 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The North American The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths) with a Size Standard of $19 million dollars. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will NOT issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
