- Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for Bed Bug resistant mattress covers and pillow cases. Qty: 1,000 EA (mattress covers and pillow cases). The following are the item specs: Mattress Covers- Premium bed bug proof luxury zippered mattress encasement water resistant mattress encasement bed bug protection (to include zipper) Zipper closure system Up to 15in. mattress depths Chemical Free Twin XL Pillow Cases- Standard Premium bed bug proof luxury zippered pillow case water resistant pillow encasement Zipper closure system Chemical Free Fits standard pillows up to 20"x28" It is the Government's intention to issue a firm-fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition is a Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) code for this requirement is 314120, the Small Business size standard is 500 employees. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. The Government intends to award to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. This award will be made in compliance with the "Buy American Act". All vendor responses shall include the material country of origin with the offer. A sample will be required of the product being offered. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. The solicitation, (No. M00146-15-T-3821) will be posted on or about 28 April 2015 and made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered with the SAM website accessed through https://www.acquisition.gov. Contractor must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website as well. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code). Contractors must be registered with Wide Area Workflow at https://wawf.eb.mil/.
