- Amended Sources Sought Document Sources Sought Number - FA4819-15-B-0003 - Repair Force Mains from MH1606 to MH1448 This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a synopsis or solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for contract award. When the solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Federal Business Opportunities website and all interested parties shall obtain the solicitation from this website. The 325th Contracting Squadron (325 CONS) at Tyndall AFB, FL is seeking potential sources for a contract for repairs of two force mains from manhole 1606 to manhole 1448. The work to be performed under this project consists of furnishing all equipment, permitting, labor and material to replace two 8" cast iron force mains by pipe bursting. Force main sections located below ditches will be lowered and installed by horizontal directional drilling. Each force main is approximately 3500 lineal feet. Four air release valves and manholes will be replaced. Archaeological monitoring services shall be provided during all ground disturbing activities for any evidence of artifacts. If the archaeologist observes cultural remains that require more concerted action, the TAFB Natural Resources will be advised immediately. Contractor shall turn in salvageable goods to the appropriate base agency. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified and interested sources with experience relative to NAICS Code 237310 with a size standard of $36.5M. This contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. Performance period is anticipated to last approximately 180 days. The anticipated magnitude of this project is in accordance with FAR Part 36.204(e) "$500,000 and $1,000,000." 325 CONS is requesting all interested and qualified firms respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: (1) name, address, phone, fax, e-mail, and website if applicable; (2) a list of similar contracts, not to exceed 3, your firm currently holds or has completed within the last three years; (3) your bonding capacity per contract/action; and (4) any/all small business classifications. The list of relevant contracts should include the location, contract number, description, estimated yearly value, performance dates, and Government point(s) of contact (contracting officer and QAE/inspector) with phone and fax numbers. Please limit your response to 3 pages.
