Description
Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This request is for market research (FAR Part 10) purposes to determine potential businesses capable of providing the product described herein. Respondents should note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this request. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents providing information to this request. Respondents must submit capability statements that clearly define the firm's ability to perform the service stated. Responses must include the company name, address, business size, CAGE Code, DUNS number, and point-of-contact name, phone number, and e-mail address. The requirement is to provides soldiers the opportunity for Electron Technicians to receive the Network + and A+ credentialing as their civilian counterparts. The Department of Defense (DoD) through the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) has directed the pursuit of credentialing opportunities for Soldiers to enhance their skills and capabilities and to promote lifelong learning throughout their lifecycle of service. This particular certification is required by Ordnance School, Ordnance Electronics Maintenance Training Department. CompTIA+ covers Essential 220-801 and Practical Application 220-802. CompTIA Network + covers N10-005. All accreditation must be by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the American National Standards institute (ANSI). The capability statement package may be sent by email to Sabrina.m.galloway2.civ@mail.mil, or mail to Sabrina Galloway, Contract Specialist, MICC-Fort Lee, and 1830 Quartermaster Road, Fort Lee, VA 23801.
