- The contractor shall support the Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Ashore (SWSA) Test Facility. The Contractor shall develop, deliver, and install a Local Tube Control Software application necessary for Phase 1, Test Bay 1, Local Tub Control. Software application functionality will support Hatch and Locking Ring control to support Test Bay 1 (Ohio) capability Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
