- The purpose of this announcement is to invite interested parties to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Pacific Rim Region, Industry Day. This industry day will facilitate open dialogue between Federal Government and Industry Partners, as well as disseminate information and educate Industry Partners on Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS), and Interagency Agreements. Industry Day session will be held on June 18, 2015 at Los Angeles Air Force Base. It is recommended that participants arrive no later than 7:00AM to check-in. The meeting is planned to begin at 8:00AM and we anticipate finishing by 4:00PM. Objectives: Government Objectives: • Gain better understanding of market conditions and recent Industry developments • Receive input and best practices suggestions from Industry Partners • Provide Overview/training of Inter-agency contracting • Encourage competition • To ensure synergy between GSA and Industry representatives through open discussions. • Communicate Program objectives and Small Business Goals and encourage Small Business Subcontracting/ Networking Industry Objectives: • Gain better understanding of GSA's program mission drivers, program success as viewed by the customer and/or end user, technical requirements, acquisition strategy • Meet potential teaming partners • Learn and/or enhance knowledge about Interagency contracting High- Level Agenda: 7:30 - 8:00 Sign In 8:00 - 8:20 Introductions / Welcome 8:20 - 9:00 Interagency Contracting Overview 9:00 - 9:30 Break 9:30 - 12:00 Panel Discussions (Government and Industry) 12:00 - 1:30 Lunch 1:30 - 4:00 Matchmaking Sessions Confirmed Panelists will include: Randall D. There is no cost to attend this event, however limited space is available and registration is required. No onsite registration or walk-ins will be allowed. No more than two (2) contractor representatives will be allowed per company. Once maximum attendance capacity is reached, registration will be closed. GSA will try to accommodate answering all submitted questions during the Industry Day. Material presented at the session will be provided as an amendment to this announcement as well as questions and answers that were addressed at the Industry Day. This notice does not constitute an invitation for bids or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not a commitment by the U.S. Government to enter into any acquisition for any products or services. No solicitation document exists at this time.
