Description
STATEMENT OF WORK NOAA Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), 1325 East West Highway, Silver Spring, MD THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE QUOTES NOAA Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), 1325 East West Highway, Silver Spring Metro Center 2, SOU6, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910 and sites in Boulder, CO, Kansas City, MO, Norfolk, VA, and Seattle, WA members will attend the NCMA World Congress that is being held in Dallas, TX on July 26-29, 2015. This request is for event group registration fees for eight participants. Total cost: $7,200.00. The NCMA World Congress is an education event for government contract, procurement, and acquisition professionals. Numerous education sessions are available that directly apply to the government contracting field while allowing attendees to network with a variety of like-minded professionals, contract experts, and colleagues from around the nation. Attendance Benefits • Attendees will learn about upcoming and future trends in the contracting profession and gain insights, solutions, and strategies for innovation from nationally recognized leaders • Attendees will learn about the latest growth trends in both government and industry; they will gain a better understanding of key initiatives and practices to reduce organizational inefficiencies and capture potential solution to implement within their respective organizations • Attendees will receive information on state-of-the-art tools and practical solutions to help increase team productivity, communication, and bottom line results for their organizations • Education tracks for the World Congress align directly with NCMA's Contract Management Body of Knowledge and government required professional acquisition competencies • The World Congress has received Office of Personnel Management approval for federal attendance. The Office of Management and Budget also encourages attendance in professional association activities for acquisition professionals. Participants can also earn up to 20 continuing professional education hours for their attendance. There will be eight (8) AGO employees and NCMA members attending the World Congress. Place of Performance: The conference will be conducted in Dallas, TX. Period of Performance: The conference period will be on July 26-29, 2015.
