Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 22, intends to solicit proposals for blood, blood products, and related services for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System, N. Las Vegas, Nevada. The solicitation under contemplation shall be for a firm-fixed price with economic price adjustment, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The applicable NAICS code is 621991. It is anticipated that the solicitation under contemplation is going to be issued on a full and open competition basis, and will be issued on or about July 28, 2015. The contractor shall ensure an adequate, readily available, supply of blood and/or blood components and related services. All blood and blood products shall be collected, processed, labeled, tested, packaged, and shipped in accordance with all regulations of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Biological Evaluation and review (CBER), as described in Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 21, Parts 600, 601, 606, 607, 610, 640, and 660, and the State of Nevada Department of Public Health. The contractor shall be accredited by the AABB and Joint Commission (JC) or meet JC standards and maintain their accreditation or standards. Deliveries will be required 24-hours per day, 7-days per week, 365-days per year. Contract awardee(s) must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov.
